The Milwaukee Brewers sign Matt Ginter
The Brewers have signed 31-year old righty starter/reliever Matt Ginter to a minor league contract. Ginter pitched in 4 games (all starts) with the Indians last season and he was 1-3 with a 5.14 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP. Ginter has now pitched in 96 games (19 starts) in his major league career and he is 5-7 with 1 save, a 5.43 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP. This was another move to help out with the depth in the starting rotation in 2009 for the Brewers.
