The Brewers have lost 29-year old lefty starting pitcher Chris Capuano for the season as he needs Tommy John surgery. He pitched in 29 games (25 starts) for the Brewers last season and he was 5-12 with a 5.10 ERA and a 1.49 WHIP. Capuano has now pitched in 124 games (116 starts) in his major league career and he is 42-48 with a 4.39 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP. The Brewers have a lot of depth in the rotation so they should be able to cover for the loss of Capuano.
